Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum


Designed by world‑renowned architect Kengo Kuma, the museum features open spaces shaped by glass and natural light. Its collection spans local Nagasaki art, Spanish works, and rotating exhibitions, making it a cultural landmark that unites art, architecture, and the surrounding landscape.

Meganebashi (Spectacles Bridge)


Built in 1634, it is one of Japan’s oldest stone arch bridges. Its name comes from the reflection of the arches on the river surface, forming the shape of a pair of spectacles. The riverside scenery is elegant and serene, making it one of Nagasaki’s most iconic historical sights.

Oura Church


Completed in 1864, Oura Church is Japan’s oldest surviving wooden Gothic church and is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known for its white façade and stained‑glass windows, it symbolizes Nagasaki’s long history of international exchange and Christian heritage.

Mount Satosayama


Located on the outskirts of Nagasaki City, Mt. Satosayama is known for its mist‑covered mountain scenery and untouched forest trails. The summit offers wide, panoramic views overlooking Nagasaki Port, surrounding mountains, and the bay. Its peaceful atmosphere has earned it the nickname “Nagasaki’s hidden observatory.
